ROCKVILLE, Md. and MERRITT ISLAND, Fla. — In a significant milestone marking the continued progression of its upcoming flight schedule, advanced maneuverable spacecraft developer Quantum Space, LLC announced on September 30, 2026, that it has executed a new spacecraft processing work order with All Points Logistics, LLC. The agreement secures critical ground support and launch-site services for the highly anticipated launch campaign of Quantum Space’s "Prime" mission, which is currently targeting lift-off in the second half of 2027.
The Prime mission serves as a vital pathfinder for Quantum Space’s broader Ranger and Scout platform architecture. Once airborne, the mission will allow the company’s engineering and operational teams to rigorously evaluate spacecraft performance, payload hosting capabilities, and advanced data collection methodologies in a real-world orbital environment. The announcement follows the recent successful completion of a rigorous Systems Integration Review for the mission, keeping the company on track for its targeted 2027 launch window.
Under the terms of the newly minted work order, All Points Logistics will deliver a comprehensive suite of specialized spacecraft processing services designed to prepare the Prime vehicle for flight. These essential services encompass the provision of certified clean-room facilities, dedicated propellant servicing support, rigorous launch-site safety and operational reviews, ground support activities, and secure transportation of the spacecraft to the final launch vehicle integration facility. The scheduled work is carefully timed to support pre-launch processing milestones throughout 2027 at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.
Kerry Wisnosky, President of Quantum Space, emphasized the operational importance of the agreement as the mission transitions from developmental design into tangible pre-flight execution. He noted that the transition period between completing the manufacturing of a spacecraft and safely integrating it onto a launch vehicle requires the seamless coordination of numerous complex activities. According to Wisnosky, partnering with All Points brings the necessary specialized infrastructure, experienced personnel, and established launch-site expertise required to execute this critical phase successfully.
The new agreement directly builds upon an existing Master Services Agreement previously established between Quantum Space and All Points Logistics. By expanding their collaborative framework, the latest work order establishes a precise, binding scope of work dedicated entirely to the ground processing and launch-site operational requirements of the Prime mission on the West Coast.

Phil Monkress, President and CEO of All Points Logistics, echoed these sentiments regarding the expanded partnership. He highlighted that supporting a pathfinder mission of this caliber represents an ideal application for All Points’ robust launch infrastructure and advanced spacecraft processing capabilities. Monkress expressed enthusiasm for deepening the company’s relationship with Quantum Space as the Ranger Prime platform edges closer to its eventual flight date.
Prime represents the inaugural vehicle in Quantum Space’s high-performance spacecraft class. The platform is being engineered from the ground up to provide commercial and national security customers with unprecedented maneuverability, long-duration on-orbit operations, and the structural flexibility to host and support a diverse array of demanding mission sets.
From a risk-management perspective, securing specialized ground and launch-site processing capabilities represents a major step forward. Wisnosky noted that locking in these operational elements effectively mitigates execution risk as the Prime vehicle advances toward flight status. The company’s primary focus now centers on finalizing the physical assembly of the spacecraft, executing the mandatory environmental test campaign, advancing through final launch integration, and ultimately transitioning the asset to dynamic on-orbit operations.
The ongoing development of the Ranger and Scout platforms underscores Quantum Space’s broader corporate mission to deliver advanced, highly maneuverable spacecraft tailored for national security, civil, and commercial space operations. Utilizing patented propulsion technologies, extended on-orbit endurance, and modular architectures, these platforms are being designed to outmaneuver legacy satellite systems and operate dynamically across a wide variety of operational scenarios.
Similarly, All Points Logistics brings decades of specialized experience to the partnership. Established in 1997 as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, the company has expanded its footprint across multiple states, evolving into a leading solutions provider for both government and commercial customers. All Points maintains recognized expertise across software development, complex IT services, modeling and simulation, launch support services, and integrated logistics operations.
